1.Jameis Winston's future with Buccaneers unknown (FantasyPros) The Buccaneers have still not made a decision on whether or not they will retain QB Jameis Winston. Analysis: Head coach Bruce Arians said that team remains undecided as they will continue to review what else happens around the league before deciding on Winston's future. While Winston was one of the most prolific fantasy signal callers of 2019, he struggled with turnovers and consistency on the field which makes him not as highly regarded as a real-life quarterback. His value will ultimately be determined by his role and team in 2020.1 day
2.Bucs yet to make decision on Winston's f... (Rotoworld) Coach Bruce Arians said the Bucs have yet to make a decision on Jameis Winston's future with the team. Analysis: "Really nothing has changed," Arians said. "You get about three days to decide. The legal tampering period. Is somebody going to get let go? What's the trade values? It's really monotonous right now because you don't have any answers." The Bucs have "legitimate interest" in Philip Rivers, who moved to Florida this offseason. 5.Jameis Winston undergoes LASIK surgery (FantasyPros) Jameis Winston recently underwent LASIK surgery to improve his vision. Analysis: "Jameis did not want to count out any options that he had that could possibly help with the game he loves so much," per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Winston has been dealing with being near-sided his whole career. He was first QB in history to throw 30 touchdowns and 30 interceptions in a season. 7.Jameis undergoes LASIK to repair vision (Rotoworld) Jameis Winston underwent LASIK surgery to repair his vision. Analysis: It's not a game-changer, but it is notable with Winston eyeing (no pun intended) a new contract. The 26-year-old has infamously squinted as a result of being nearsighted throughout his career, leading coach Bruce Arians to state he "can’t read the scoreboard but he can see the guys in front of him" in his final press conference. Winston led the NFL with 5,109 passing yards and 33 touchdowns last year but is obviously having his decision-making questioned for the 30 picks that went with those marks. It's un... (More)6 days
8.Buccaneers | Jameis Winston has Lasik surgery (thehuddle) Tampa Bay Buccaneers impending free-agent QB Jameis Winston (eyes) recently underwent Lasik surgery to help improve his eyesight. Analysis: Winston finished the season with 33 touchdowns and 30 interceptions, so his status with the Bucs is uncertain at this point. He is a valuable fantasy option because of his touchdowns but the interceptions make him a risky starting option. Winston probably will be the starter for a team next season can could be a low-end No. 1 or a No. 2 quarterback in leagues. 6 days
