Section 1 - Divisions/Schedule/Draft 1. There will be three divisions comprised of four teams each. 2. Draft and division order shall be determined by a random method and shall take place approximately four weeks before the draft. 3. Division order will be determined prior to the draft order. 4. Only draft order can be traded. Division order can not be traded. 5. Players are eligible to be drafted only for a position as listed at nfl.com. regardless of the NFL's and nfl.com's designation. Players will then maintain that position(s) while a member of any FFL squad 6. The draft shall be sixteen rounds with the draft order reversing every round. 7. There will be a ninety second time limit for each owner's selection. 8. Once a player is selected by an owner during the draft, that player is part of their roster immediately and all FFL rules apply to the maintenance of that player. (i.e. once selected, the owner can not change their mind for any reason) 9. If an owner misses or comes late to the draft they will draft from the remaining pool of players at the time they arrive. If they do not arrive at all then they can draft their team from free agency. 10. The weekly schedule will be established so that each team plays another member of their division in weeks: 1, 4, 7, 10, 13 and 14. Actual scheduling pits them against the same opponent: 1 & 14 4 & 10 7 & 13
1. At no time can a roster be greater than sixteen players. 2. Starting lineups are due to the Commissioner no later than 4pm on the last work day of the week unless owners are notified from the league office of a different due date and time. 3. In the event that a game takes place during a weekday the owner must inform the league office of their intention to start one or more players for that game or games. These players are then added to the owners starting lineup on the last day of the work week and their scores are counted towards the total for the week. All final starting lineups are then still due as stated above. 4. Each week an owner's starting lineup will consist of four mandatory positions and four other players made up of a certain combination of RB's, WR's and TE's. Four Mandatory Positions 1) QB Other four Position combinations 1) Pro Set - 2 RB's and 2 WR's. * Note that any number of additional TE's can be substituted for any WR's. 5. If a starting lineup is not submitted, or not submitted on time, then the team's roster from the prior week will be used. Section 3 - Trading 1. Trading deadline is the 11th week starting lineup deadline. After all starting lineups are in for the 11th week no more trading will be allowed. 2. All trades must be brought to the commissioner for the trade to be final. The commissioner has the power to not allow a trade if it is deemed detrimental to the league. 3. Trades do not have to be one for one or two for two. Any number of players may be traded for any number as long as each team maintains no greater than sixteen players. 4. Once a player has been traded to another team you are not allowed to trade back for that player for the remainder of that season. 5. Any player traded must maintain the same position(s) that they were originally eligible for. 6. Trading of position in the Draft is allowed (see above).
1. Free Agent deadline is Week 14 of the season. 2. Free agency will take place every Wednesday at 4pm ET. 3. After FA runs, it is then first come first served but no more than 2 picks are allowed per week from either method. For example, you can use 2 picks in FA, 1 in FA then 1 in FCFS, or 2 in FCFS. 3. Each owner is allowed two FA picks per week. 4. Pecking order for free agency is determined by team standings. The last place team goes first while the first place feam goes last. In the event of a tie, the wildcard tie break methodology will be used to determine who picks before whom. 5. Any player who is placed into the free agency pool is not eligible to be signed until the following week. 6. Players are eligible to be signed only for a position as listed on nfl.com.
1. All players are eligible for all categories. So if a K throws for a TD he will receive all passing stat numbers. 2. Special Teams scores apply to the owner that owns that teams defense. If another owner owns the player who scored the TD then they also receive credit if that player was part of their starting lineup that week. 3. If a position does not play for any reason the player will receive a 0. i.e. You can't start a D on a bye week and say that they didn't allow any points or yards so you deserve the points. 4. All Owners have 3 weeks to appeal a score change. After 3 weeks, all scores are final.

1. An owner may place a maximum of two players on IR. 2. A player is only eligible for IR if they are listed by the NFL as doubtful or out. Under NO other circumstances is a player eligible for IR. 3. It is each owner's responsibility to check on their injured player's status and roster each week before submitting a weekly starting lineup. In addition, the league may notify an owner that a player is on IR but not eligible. If a team has an IR player who is not eligible for IR then they must DROP a player (or players) IMMEDIATELY to bring their roster back to sixteen or less players. 4. Any team having greater than sixteen players on its active roster for ANY reason will not be allowed to participate in ANY FFL activities. This includes, but is not limited to: Trading, Starting Lineup Submission and Free Agency. 5. The only allowable method for a team to return to the legal roster limit is to drop a player. 6. When an owner puts a player on IR they must stay on IR for 7 days.
1. Playoffs shall take place during Week 15 and 16 of the NFL's regular season. 2. Each division winner shall participate in the playoffs as well as one wildcard. The wildcard is the best team from all divisions that did not win their division. 4. The best team in the league (as determined by the wildcard tie break method) shall play the wildcard team while the remaining two teams shall play. The winners of those two contests shall go to the FFL SuperBowl while the two less fortunate teams shall play for third and fourth place. 5. Playoff scores are considered final at the conclusion of all the games for the week. 6. Division Title Tie Break 1) Regular Season record 7. Wild Card Tie Break 1) Regular Season record 8. Playoff Tie Break
1. The fee for each team will be $75 due at or before the draft. Gold - $300 Most Points scored in a week - $50 Section 9 - Rule Change Process 1. Section 10 - Interruption of NFL Season (The Covid-19 Sucks Rule added 2020) 1. If the NFL season is delayed for any reason, the draft may be delayed as well. 2. If the NFL season starts and then stops for any reason, once it is known that the NFL will not start again that season, teams will be seeded for the playoffs from the number of week(s) that were played and prizes will be awarded as so: #1 - Gold.
#2 - Silver.
#3 - Bronze.
#4 - Wood.
#5 - NIP! Gold.
#6 - NIP! Silver.
All other prizes will be paid out based on whatever partial season was played. So if the season were to end on Week 8, prizes will be paid based on everything up until Week 8. Note: Whatever the final week is, it must be played in it's entirety to count. For example, if the NFL started Week 8 but was unable to complete all games, then the FFL! will use only the weeks that were played in their entirety, or, up until Week 7 in this example. 3. If it is known that the NFL will be shutting down early for the season and we are able to still hold a two week playoff with the time remaining then we will. Teams will be seeded 1-4 and a 2 week FFL! Championship tournament will be held. The NIP! will also move to a 2 week format in this case. Seeds 5-8 will play for NIP! Gold and seeds 9-12 for NIP! Silver. 4. In the case where 10.3 above occurs and we are able to hold an end of season tournament but the NFL shuts down before the tournament is able to be completed, we will revert back to Rule 10.2 above and payout based on the last regular season full week and all tournament results will be voided. 5. A full Week 1 (all NFL teams play their games in their entirety) must be played to count as an NFL season. If a full Week 1 is not played, then the league will either refund all fees or apply a credit to the following season -- at the discretion of each owner. Section 11 - Miscellaneous Fineprint All decisions from the league office are final but the league office reserves the FFL! FFL! FFL! Sports Enterprises(c). IAAY(c). |
