(thehuddle) New England Patriots impending free-agent QB Cam Newton said he would be open to signing a one-year contract with the Patriots this offseason.
Analysis: Newton rushed for 12 touchdowns this season but threw for only 2,657 yards and eight touchdowns in 15 games. He should be a No. 2 fantasy quarterback next season if he is able to find a starting job this offseason.
